FOG Project With C1T4

Assallamaualaikum and a very good morning everyone!

Today is a Saturday and it is a working day. I started my class today with my bunch of joyful teenagers of class C1T4. At first we started with the continuation of their comments on EWO project. I get lots of positive comments on it and surely very happy with the impact on their attitude and self-esteem.

Later,they proceeded with FOG Project and this time I could hear lots of laughter and silly giggles and jokes. I have no problem with that as long as the ice is broken and they get warmed up with their little chat and sharing.

FOG Project With E2T7/8

Proceeding with another class,E2T7/8.

I started by letting them browse through my previous entries so as to make them understand why I am carrying this FOG project with them. At first they were so formal in carrying out the discussion and I have to urge them to be less formal and take things easily. The session is supposed to be an ice-breaking session and a warming up step before they start their speaking practice. 

So sit back , relax and enjoy your chat!

The girls talked about their experience being caught by the fellow this morning. Nik and Dayah were among them besides the boys Muiz, Hadiff, Akmal, Azam and Anisyahirah. Take it easy but learn your lesson well, boys and girls! Online games (Mobile Legend) was the topic of discussion in Muiz's group while Zhariff's group talked about PS2 games. Well, the boys really cannot be apart from games,yea!

Mizan and his group happily chatted about their favourite game which is football. Sharing their experience is fun and they learn to speak in the second language more freely when they are not pressured.

Hope this project will be able to help my students to avoid having cold-feet when it comes to speaking.

FOG Project With M2T7

Assallamualaikum and Good Morning viewers.

As I wished early in the morning today, I was hoping and praying for a fruitful day. Alhamdulillah, Allah  grants me with the best outcome. For my second class today, again with M2T7,we proceeded with FOG Project.

The class was divided into 3 groups of their choice and they started  discussing topics of their interest. I can hear laughter, jokes and easy-going conversation among my students. I am happy with the great improvement reflected by their effort and it seems that speaking in English is not that scary anymore!

Some of the topics discussed were about their hobbies, Red velvet serial which is in session now,KAKOM at KMNS, what they do not like about KMTK,the experience being caught for being late,dream wishes and football tournament and the list went on and on.

FOG Project with M2T6

For the second slot at 11 a.m (13/12/2016) with M2T6,the activities continued with more discussion on how they spent their holidays.

As for this class,the majority spoke at ease as they are a bunch of jovial students. All words and descriptions uttered : jungle-trekking,island hooping,sunburn were nicely described by the students.

Hopefully they will be able to write interesting essays later.

I really put high hope that based on this activity....3 skills can be achieved :speaking,listening and writing.

How time flies.... it's already 1 hour.

FOG Project Starts

Good morning viewers...
Today(13/12/2016) is the 2nd day of the new semester for us....The 1st day was on Sunday (11/12/2016) and it was a warming up as well as an ice-breaking session with the students. Surely during that 3 weeks holidays,they were free from English environment and I think they were so happy with that.
The first class today was with C1T3 and C1T4 students....and of course as a starter I proceeded with the FOG Project and they were asked to talk about how they spent their holidays.
Well...I heard a lot of laughter and happy trailing down memory lane stories which they will use to write their essays later.

FOG Project With E2T7/8

The next class is E2T7/8 with 2 groups focusing on :
1. boys vs girls
2 favourite movies.

The group which has chosen the topics on their favourite movies really had fun retelling about the movies they watched.I enjoyed listening as well, eventhough I have never watched any of them.....so out-dated of me,eh!

iwan(doing assingments)

wowwwww...I never thought they can come out with unexpected topics as such.....and they gave all out to make sure the informal discussion was carried out perfectly and everybody participated marvellously!!

FOG Project With C2T8

C2T8 students  participated in this FOG Project during their class this evening. Since there are 13 students in this class, they grouped themselves into 2 groups of their choice and brainstormed for the topic to be discussed.
The first group chosed their favourite superheroes as their topic of discussion and they really enjoyed sharing their info regarding their favourite superheroes....

The language lab was chaotic and full of laughters and funny expressions and extra hilarious remarks on friends' stories....they had so much fun,I assumed.

Good morning everyone, today during my tutorial class with M2T6 we carried out the FOG Project.
At first I gave them a topic on leadership qualities but looking at their expression and the way they were so deep in thought, I think better if I give them something light and fun to discuss on. I did not want to ruin the fun of the program. And...I let them choose the topic. Khugen, the sweet talker popped up with "food"....and everyone agreed on that. They started off excellently as almost everybody participated eagerly in the discussion or informal conversation.

Izzat, Asraf and Alif about not going back this weekend,
Farah, being teased by the boys,
Syamin who misses his mum's cooking,
Khugen who kept on sweet-talking everybody,

Honestly, I am impressed with the ways they participated.
Kudos kids!
As requested, one fine day...I'll bring everybody to my little cottage yea....
but be good students and that's a promise.
