Survey Penilaian Guru Cemerlang/Pensyarah Cemerlang 2021.

Assalamualaikum viewers

Good morning everyone.

Alhamdulillah..seronok dapat berita gembira dari sahabat2 yang telah menerima makluman tentang survey dan penilaian Guru Cemerlang/Pensyarah Cemerlang (GCPC) bagi permohonan tahun 2021. 

Dari semalam ,bertalu-talu saya terima panggilan dan texts memberitahu akan berita ini dan minta nasihat apa yang perlu dibuat. 

*Dah panik dah ni, Kak Mas! 

*Tak bersedia lagi rasanya ni.

* Online? Onsite?

Saya bukanlah seorang nazir dan tiada kaitan ataupun hubungan dengan mana-mana nazir, cuma seorang guru biasa sahaja tetapi bolehlah jika mahu mendengar perkongsian persediaan dan pengalaman yang dilalui sebelum ini. Jemput juga untuk join group yang dah lama juga saya createkan untuk perkongsian tentang GCPC. Saya kongsi linknya di atas.

Ok....Saya pun tak ada experience untuk penilaian secara online ni sebab sblm ni semuanya turun onsite but i will try to share a bit here . Moga dapat membantu.

1. Proses PdP adalah suatu elemen sangat penting so please prepare yourselves and students. Study the content and be really prepared. No acting but do the norm so buat sebaiknya dgn students. Bukan train them dlm masa 2 minggu sblm pencerapan. Nanti kantoi sebab mereka sgt experience. Try to make your PdPR fun and enjoyable but not to forget...kemenjadian students itu penting. Dan yang tersangat penting juga...be yourself.

2. Prepare dokumen online as well as the hardcopies.

Boleh gunakan Google Drive or One Drive.

Buat folder besar untuk 3 tahun.

In each folder buat folders kecik2 :

* Fail Teaching Portfolio/ e-rph

* Fail Markah Pelajar

* Fail Sumbangan

* Fail Tugas2 Khas

* Other files which you think are relevant. Boleh rujuk panduan dan cadangan Kak Mas sebelum ni.

3. Bersedia dengan slaid pembentangan yang mantap. Boleh rujuk pada borang permohonan terdahulu.

Jangan panic...

Mereka baru buat survey..you can start planning and updating now.

SAYONARA KMKK

 Assalamualaikum and good evening everyone.

Today is the last day for students from Kolej Matrikulasi Kejuruteraan Pahang (KMKPh) to stay at Kolej Matrikulasi Kejuruteraan Kedah (KMKK). You are on your way back to your hometome and beloved families. 

It is SAYONARA finally.

Being here at KMKK for more than 1 month must have given all of you a lot of experience. All the bittersweet memories will be taken back to KMKPh, I believe. In this entry, I would like to invite everybody to share your experience and jot down the memories that you have encountered here. You can write and share as many as you wish.

 Assalamualaikum everyone.

We have completed our T&L  for semester 1 2020/2021.                                                                          Congratulations to everyone. Alhamdulillah, during this Covid19 pandemic session, we have been using Google Classroom and Google Meet for our online classes. 

And till now we are using Google Classroom to focus on the writing part and Google Meet  on the speaking part, but we have never neglected the other two skills which are the listening and reading parts as well. Again and again , I have been inviting all of you to participate along the way and you have participated actively and wonderfully. Congratulations and kudos. Really proud of your strong will and amazing collaborative support and teamwork.

Now, I would like to invite all of you to share with our viewers out there how these two tools have given motivational impacts to all of you. Maybe you can share how being involved in the online activities using Google Classroom and Google Meet have changed your perceptions toward using the Google tools in your life or maybe how Meet has been able to encourage you to speak better in public. We would like to hear how these two tools have influenced your ways of life and your learning experience.

My Life Anecdotes(Part 3)

 Anecdote 3:

             

Many people want to learn. From the very high in ranks to the lowest in ranks. From the king to the dustman. From the CEO to the general workers. All have the desire to learn, but what stops most of us from learning is the available resources. Sometimes the books that we read or study are not inspiring enough for us to understand and master. It is the same with learning and mastering the English language. Way back, I started to find myself the inspiration to create and learn English communication when I was in secondary school. I stayed at the school hostel for five years and during that precious time, I learnt a lot from this foreign teacher who were brought to Malaysia from Britain by our school administrators. I have forgotten her name because this happened more than 30 years back. Her task was to teach us English at night. We had tuition classes every night and I enjoyed her classes very much, compared to my other friends. When I first met her, I was highly impressed with her intelligence and personality. She inspired me a lot. What I am trying to say here is, we need to emulate someone whom we really adores and inspires us. Someone who touches our hearts. During my years of teaching, I emulated her ways of reaching to me and my other friends and I am still practicing the same rules and regulations, be it formally or informally to my students and friends.

Note :

During CONVEX Ceremony 2017, I received The Anugerah Perkhidmatan Cemerlang (APC) by The Ministry of Education and The Most Caring Award voted by the students of batch 2017/2018.   I think I did touch their hearts in my own way. Thank You Allah

In short, what I can say is, sharing your knowledge and experience improve your personal performance, effectiveness, and skills, which should increase your personal profit. 

Sharing what you know will

** Help you learn: by doing research, synthesizing multiple viewpoints, and crystallizing ideas.

** Improve your personal brand by showcasing your expertise.

** Create demand for your expertise: increases opportunities for sales, revenue, appearances, publications, etc.

** Encourage people to request that you apply the information you shared; knowledge is 

     information in action, and this is what people actually want, not just written documents.

** Come back to you in the form of help when you need it.

** Get others to also share, which may ultimately benefit you.

** Increase your personal morale; people feel better when they can help others.

** Stroke your ego: when people ask for your help and then thank you for providing it.

** Strengthen your knowledge: others can confirm, point out flaws, or improve what you know.

**Aids your career: you can advance based on a reputation for getting results and helping the organization succeed

My life Anecdotes(Part 2)

 Anecdote 2:

I love jotting my journals on Facebook. I write almost about everything except politics and I do it daily and even sometimes a few jottings in a day, depending on the situation. Nothing serious, just some light stories of the day and some sharing which I hope could be of some use to my viewers and readers. I really believe that the personal benefits that we receive from sharing knowledge is massive. Sharing knowledge is not just a feel good thing that only benefits the person you share the knowledge with but I believe it brings tangible benefits to the person who shares it as well. Recently two groups of lecturers from Kolej Tingkatan 6 Sultan Salahuddin, Alor Star, Kedah requested for my help to assist them in their innovation projects. We have never met each other in person but they get so ‘connected’ with me and my passion in creating innovations when they read my journals and saw my pictures which I always attached in every journal. I became their mentor from January to June 2020 and finally they were able to present their innovations during a convention organized by Institute Aminudin Baki. The mentoring sessions were done only online via Teams, Google Meet, Telegram and Wassapp applications but the outcome was a success. Until now, we have not had the chance to meet face to face. In return, the groups conveyed their gratitude and appreciation with certificates and a lot of presents delivered by post to my office, to which I had never expected to get. Added to it, this also becomes aids to my career: advancing based on a reputation for getting results and helping these organizations succeed in various ways.

Note :

I was given the honour of receiving the Anugerah Khas Pendidikan in conjunction with Hari Guru Peringkat Kebangsaan 2019 for all the contributions and active participations in innovation competitions, paper presentations and my collaborations with various educational institutions in Malaysia. I am deeply honoured. Thank You Allah.

Assallamualaikum semua.
Pertamanya saya ingin mengucapkan setinggi2 tahniah atas penglibatan tuan/puan dalam Hari Inovasi kali ini. Penglibatan yang sangat hebat dan bersemangat.

Kedua, terima kasih atas jemputan dan kepercayaan terhadap saya dan Tuan Faizal sebagai panel penilai. Kami sangat2 berbesar hati.

Saya pasti tuan/puan tertanya2 ciri2 penjurian yang menempatkan tuan/puan di dalam kategori atau level yang berbeza. Dan saya pasti tuan/puan juga sudah maklum tentang kriteria pemilihan. Saya akan kongsikan serba sedikit secara umum bahagian2 dimana tuan/puan boleh baiki. Semoga dapat membantu semua untuk meneruskan semangat berinovasi.

1. Inovasi tidak semestinya menghasilkan product, jadi setiap apa yang tuan/puan created dan presented hari ini adalah inovasi. Syabas... As simple as that. Mampu selesaikan masalah atau baiki proses pdp. Secara konvensional atau mgunakan tech ada markahnya bergantung pada impak kepada pelajar.

2.Poster mesti ringkas tapi jelas. Elakkan menggunakan perjelasan yg panjang lebar. Point forms atau bullet forms will be much better. Infographic sgt2 membantu. Padat dan jelas. Selalunya juri tidak dpt mberi masa yg lama utk membaca atau mendengar penjelasan yg tidak berkaitan. Tambahan brochure atau salinan framework yang kita bina akan memudahkan juri meletakkan range markah.

3. Penjelasan perlu padat. Persembahan perlu confident dan mudah difahami. Suara jelas dan antonasi perlu jaga. Jangan over excited... Dah mcm nak marah juri dah kadang2 tu... Lawak jer, bukan kes kita hari ini. Setiap ahli kumpulan perlu yakin untuk menjawab soalan2 juri sebab ini kerja kumpulan. Juri yang berpengalaman ada teknik atau cara untuk korek samada betul seperti yang digambarkan atau tidak.

4.Evidence mesti ada untuk yakinkan juri. Bukan juri tak percaya yang kita dah jalankan inovasi tapi bila bercakap atas angin... Susah sikit nak dapat markah yg bagus. Hasilkan module, gambar2, video atau hasilkerja pelajar sebelum dan selepas inovasi dijalankan. Catatan atau feedback pelajar dalam wassap, telegram, blog atau social media amat membantu disamping analisa data secara statistik.

5. Walau kita kumpulan terakhir dinilai, bersedialah seperti orang lain. Jangan sebut... Tadi ada dalam laptop, sekarang dah padam. Nampak sangat kita tidak serius untuk membentang. Semangat dah lemau sebab menunggu terlalu lama.

6. Jika pernah memasuki mana2 pertandingan, inovasi yg hendak dibentangkan mesti ada penambahbaikan. Boleh saja nak bawa sijil atau medal yang dimenangi dalam pertandingan terdahulu tapi penekanan wajib diberi pada penambahbaikan inovasi tersebut.

7. Wow factor must really  be a WOW. To get 3/5 tu dah bagus sebab maksudnya inovasi sudah dapat memberi impak yang bagus pada penerimaan juri yang hanya melihat dan mendengar sahaja dan bukan berada bersama tuan/puan semasa inovasi dijalankan bersama pelajar. Cari keywords yang strong untuk yakinkan juri yang inovasi tuan/puan memang WOW.

8. Practicality. Bila ditanya how practical it is in class or to your students? Maknanya ada ruang untuk persoalan besar dalam minda juri.... Inovasi ini hanya untuk pertandingan hari ini ke atau memang boleh dijalankan dalam jangkamasa yang panjang dan memberi kesan yang besar pada pelajar dan pdp.

Penjurian hari ini tidaklah boleh kita letakkan sejajar dengan pertandingan2 luar because we are beginners. Kami mengambilkira factor sokongan dan motivation supaya tuan/puan  tidak merasa demotivated hingga hilang semangat untuk terus berinovasi.

Walau apa pun komen dan cadangan serta tips yang kami berikan tadi dan kali ini, anda adalah yang terbaik kerana ada usaha dan semangat yang tinggi untuk mencuba berinovasi.

Petang ni Che Mas nak berkongsi lagi tentang tugas Che Mas di kolej bersama anak2 pelajar Che Mas.Alahai....bukan benda baru pun kan... Hari2 Che Mas kongsi, jadi apa bezanya kan?

Bezanya ialah jurnal Che Mas hari ini, Che Mas nak masuk pertandingan Digital Classroom. Kalau dapat LIKE terbanyak maka dapatlah jadi pemenang! Jadi untuk yang sayangkan Che Mas tu... Jom LIKE jurnal Che Mas ni macam selalu ya.

Hari ini Che Mas nak kongsikan tentang Google Classroom. Dah lama dah Che Mas gunakan aplikasi yang sebenarnya amat menjimatkan penggunaan kertas, dakwat printer, masa, tenaga dan lebih menarik, ia bukan sahaja boleh digunakan dalam PdP malah dapat dipraktikkan dalam urusan pentadbiran pejabat dan pengurusan berkaitan dengan urusan pentadbiran rekod tapi fokus Che Mas pada pelajarlah, tentunya. 

Google Classroom merupakan aplikasi yang lebih maju dalam menepati ciri-ciri pembelajaran Abad Ke-21 kerana melaluinya, guru atau pelajar boleh mencipta ruang kelas secara maya, membantu menghantar tugasan, melaksanakan penilaian tugasan-tugasan yang dikumpulkan oleh sistem secara teratur dan bersistematik.Ini yang seronoknyakan. Pelajar pun seronok. Buat kuiz online pun nereka happy dan tak stress. 

Semua rekod tugasan disimpan oleh sistem mengikuti tarikh dan kelas maya yang dicipta oleh Che Mas dan Che Mas tidak perlu bimbang jika berlaku penyalahgunaan oleh pelajar kerana Google Classroom memberikan hak akses kepada Che Mas sendiri. 

Ini disebabkan kerana Che Mas yang mengatur tugasan dan pelajar boleh melihat, melakukan suntingan bahkan berkolaboratif juga melalui Google Classroom di bawah kawalan dan pemantauan Che Mas. Sebab tu Che Mas tak boleh renggang dengan handphone. Bila suami nak hadiahkan phone... Che Mas cakap tak kisahlah nak bagi brand apa pun asalkan Che Mas boleh guna untuk buat kerja.

Satu lagi yang bestnya  aplikasi Google Classroom ini, ia menyediakan ru­angan berforum bagi diskusi sehingga guru boleh membuka sebuah diskusi kelas yang menye­ronokkan kerana komen-komen yang dilaksanakan boleh dianggap se­perti aktiviti memberi komen di Facebook.

Che Mas rasa  tidak mustahil Google Classroom boleh menggantikan kelas formal atau menjadi ruangan kelas yang diminati ramai pada masa depan.Anak2 pelajar Che Mas dah cekap dah. Jadi bila Che Mas terpaksa keluar untuk kursus atau mesyuarat ataupun konferense, Che Mas tak susah hati. Kelas tetap berjalan kerana Che Mas tahu siapa yang sedang buat kerja dan siapa yang ngelat. Untuk itu.. Nanti kita cerita dalam jurnal lain ya. 

Aplikasi Google Classroom ini juga membantu sinkronasikan dengan Google Docs, Drive dan Gmail dalam melakukan semua kerja normal Che Mas seperti memungut hasil kerja pelajar, menyemak, memberi markah, memberi maklum balas secara langsung tanpa menggunakan sebarang kertas.

Malah, aplikasi ini membantu kerja pengkhususan lebih teratur yang mana secara automatik akan mencipta ‘folder’ bagi setiap tugasan dan untuk setiap pelajar de­ngan dapat memuat naik segala kerja dan dapat menyemak semula di laman tugasan mereka.

Che Mas ada kongsikan beberapa keping gambar aktiviti anak2 pelajar Che Mas. Untuk banyak lagi gambar bolehlah tinjau2 album FB Che Mas ni ya.

I can see that each and everyone of you are very busy with my tasks and also some other tasks from other lecturers.  But, life has to go on and we have to complete all the tasks given the best we could.

A JOURNAL ENTRY BY NORIAH ABD RAHMAN

Journal : A Reflection of What You Expected from This Course.

When I was told to attend a 3-days course at BTPN Alor Setar about a month ago, my mind got stuck thinking of lots and lots of unfinished work. I have to leave a lot of work just because I have to attend the course. The most important thing was how am I going to leave my precious children because at the same time my husband also has to attend another 3-days course. I felt extremely upset thinking about leaving my children especially my new-born baby boy because he is too small and still breast-feeding. I can’t imagine how he would be. After a long discussion with my husband, we came to a concession that my children will be left with my mother-in-law and I will travel daily to and fro. That’s make me feel better. So, I went to the course with a relieved heart. Frankly speaking, being chosen for a course is a burden to me because I hate to leave my family. I don’t like to be away from them. I’ll miss them very much but what am I supposed to do. I am a carrier woman. I have to fulfill my responsibility towards what I have pledged.

During my first day at the course I was amazed when the facilitators showed their pictures when they were attending the CLiPS course in Singapore. Actually I am interested in teaching literature and I hope I will be able to present a good work and teach my pupils excellently. Sadly I am not a creative teacher, so it is difficult for me to think of something interesting to attract my pupils’ attention. When the facilitators introduced to us some of the interesting and fun activities that we can do with the pupils, it repolished my knowledge about teaching literature. Therefore I was glad to be chosen as one of the participant in the course. It is awesome to meet friends and share new ides about TLC with them. It has also upgraded my skills, knowledge and brought some new ideas for a teacher like me.

By attending this course, I hope I will be able to teach literature properly to my pupils in school. I also hope I will gain new ideas regarding TLC. Even though I am not creative, I can give some ideas. If I can’t give interesting ideas, I can lend my hands to complete the task. I can also give my supports towrds completing any assingment given. Then, after I have completed my TLC, I will teach my pupils and keep on with my portfolio and my pupils’ portfolios as well. Hopefully I will be able to fulfill my responsibility. As far I am concerned, literature is an interesting lesson which has lots and lots of interesting activities. I hope the pupils will also love literature
By the end of the courses I was glad and grateful to be chosen as one of the participants in this CCL course.
