How Sweet

A Clearer View Of The Nilam Tree

The flowers with numbers pasted on them.Colourful flourecent stickers
will make your job much easier and the product more enhanced.

Now you can see the flowers and the number pasted on each flower.
The number is actually belongs to an individual personnel in my class.
They really take care of their flowers as the flowers and numbers promote
them as active readers.

To answer questions asked and to make the pic clearer, I have cropped and enlarged the original version
of the Nilam tree.
Hope this will help the readers who are interested to share this idea .

The NILAM Trees Project

The NILAM trees project is actually an idea to encourage the reading habits among students. They compete among them fairly and practise the win-win situation in the classroom.

Each student who read 5 books will get a flower and he/she may stick his/her number on the flower. Then the students will have the privilage of choosing where to paste their flowers on the prepared column. May they be on the branches, roots or even scatter on the ground together with the green grass. They make their own choice.

By the end of the year, the King and Queen Readers will be chosen from the students who read the most. And of course, undeniablly interesting  prizes await.

Care to try ? Your students might like this idea but you readers might have to work extra miles to prepare the column and the flowers, as well as the numbers. Quite hectic and handful but you wont regret doing it, I bet!

Kena Saman ?

Again , the continuation of the event on 5/5/2011. The time was 10.10 a.m.
This time about getting  a ticket from Mr Police Officer.Oh no, not me! It's the tow truck driver.
Poor thing! He didnt bring the 'On Tow' signage to be hung at the towed cars so the ticket went to him.

He tried to nagotiate with the officer but the officer just nodded his head and said nothing. Wise Man!

Here you are,Sir! So early in the morning and yet so unlucky. Wish you have a better luck another day, Sir!

On Tow

 A continuation from my last entry. 5/5/2011- 10.15 a.m
my car was towed by the tow truck to SP with me inside. Ha ha!What an unforgettable experience which money cant buy......sitting in the car, all alone ( except with the companion of the giraffe (the tissue box)....... nothing to do just snapping photos a long the way back to SP.

Reaching Taman Sejati after coming out of the highway. Moving towards the  mechanic workshop at Batu 2.

The first experience ever

5/5/2011 (Khamis)-9.25 am
Selepas hantar Adik ke Ideal, terus menuju ke highway untuk jumpa Dr Amelia. Dah buat appointment dengan dia kemarin so today is the day of our first ' face-to face' and 'get-to-know each other'session. Masuk aja highway, ada bunyi kat depan kereta, jeling tengok minyak,ok lagi sebab more than half, tengok temperature punya meter pun ok, less than half.So kurangkan from 100kmph to 80kmph, menjadi juga sebab dah tak de bunyi lagi. After a few seconds, tup-tup ada bunyi balik.Lampu tanda macam kepala paip dah naik merah. Was wondering why.......(belajor tak habis) ,then naik pulak lampu yang macam pelita aladdin tu dan gambar bateri. habis la.....terus kereta stopped. Wahhhh what to do now? Stay calm.....nothing to worry  about. After a few sec, started the engine back, alhamdulillah it worked. Made up my mind not to proceed the journey so turned back to SP junction, then suddenly the car stopped again. this time I dared not do anything.

Called the mechanic, banyak pulak songehnya si mechanic nih so kena call Mr Hubby la pulak. Mulanya tak nak le kacau dia sebab I think I can handle this all by myself tapi bila dah si mechanic tu banyak songeh, kena la juga call Mr Hubby. Then kebetulan there was a car passed by and stopped, rupanya mechanic juga.So Mr Hubby talked to him, nagotiated about the price of towing the car back to SP then around 10.15 a.m my car was towed back with me inside, ha ha.What an experience!

This is the tow truck which towed my car and ME back to SP. What an unlucky day for the truck driver today ............
Why ? To be continued in another entry.

The first time ever my car kena pakai kalung camni...........it doesnt look nice at all......but what to do.

Cerita seterusnya akan disambung dalam my next entry. Panjang sangat dalam ni, tak best.

Our 20th Anniversary Celebration-3/5/2011

Again, here we are-settled at Pizza Hut,Central Square,SP. This time to celebrate our 20th anniversary which falls on the 3rd of May every year and this is the 20th year of our marriage- Alhamdulillah.Actually we celebrated this speacial occasion a little bit earlier which was on the 30th of April 2011.No other day cos my kids and hubby won't be home after the 1st of May 2011 so 30th's the best date chosen.

First , we started  with my gift to my beloved hubby. A set of belt, wallet and pen for him stated my love for him.

As from him, a beautiful elegent-looking Polo wrist watch. Thank you abang for the lovely gift.Love it.

From hubby to me

From me to hubby

Our sweethearts
At first, I thought of buying a special cake for the night, but unfortunately all the bakeries including Secret Recipe were closed that nite- maybe bcos the following day was Labour Day so it's celebration time!
My hubby said nevermind the cake as they will be very occupied with the dishes ordered and he was right. But I still wandered (that time of cos ) when are we gonna buy the cake since tomorrow's breakfast will be pulut durian and nasi daging for lunch.......hmmmmmm.

Touring USM

My kids at the PPIP lounge
 29/04/2011 (Friday)
Took Nurul Irdina Syaffiqa and Nurul Izzianie Syifa to USM.This time is to get the car sticker , to activate the wifi and to meet Dr Amelia Abdullah.(well....that was the actual plan, actually). But things turned out differently, Dr Amelia was not around (we went to her room -120) and she was not there so we came down and spent the evening snapping photos. Oh ,what a day!

Outside PPIP
Was happy spending the whole evening with my girls. Showed them around for countless time, just to motivate them to study harder and become somebody oneday.Kakak seems to understand the ranking of degrees but Adik, no, not yet! She is still young, but she knows that Mama will continue her study here, again.

Penang Bridge photo snaps
On the way back, Kakak dozed off already while the bubbly Adik, kept on talking without stopping. We stopped to 'shoot her' photos.Ha  ha ha.She knew we were not supposed to stop there but I was being very careful.

Hope you'll be one day, my luv.
My girl with the dean's parking signboard. Hope she will be somebody great one day. This is just another way to boost her confidence.
